Mr. Knight has been practicing Civil Engineering work in East Central Florida area for 27 years.  He has provided civil engineering and consulting for a wide range of projects from Broward to Volusia County and a number of Central Florida Communities.  His experience has been in the management of civil projects including design, permitting and construction for a wide range of development.  David is particularly adept at finding creative solutions to engineering issues encountered in difficult environments.  David is interested in sustainable development and balancing effective engineering design with aesthetics, cost control, common sense and the client’s vision.

Mr. McGuire has been practicing Civil Engineering work in East Central Florida area for 27 years.  He is principal and co-owner of Knight, McGuire & Associates, Inc.  He works closely with staff to oversee and ensure detailed design and quality control on all projects.  His local knowledge gives him an advantage when working with federal, state and local agencies.  Scott has a firm grasp of agencies’ processes to help facilitate efficient scheduling and timely approvals.   He is experienced in Department of Transportation design and permitting, and all aspects of civil engineering.   Scott’s interests are in native landscape design.  He also has donated his time to non-profit projects in order to give back to the community.

Alyson has 8 years of experience in planning and environmental management working in the private sector as well as with local, state, and federal government.  She oversees, manages, and coordinates project development through initial planning, permitting and construction, and provides planning assistance including site design, site review, and compliance review with local development regulations.  She also manages and supervises project staff and computer drafters.  Alyson is skilled at understanding the “big picture” of a project and understanding the necessary steps to reach project’s end goals.  She is interested in sustainable design, land planning, environmental management, interpretation of applicable regulations, and the use of GIS as a tool in all aspects of development.


KMA STAFF

KMA staff includes professional engineers, planners, project managers, construction inspectors, CAD designers, and support staff.  We are experienced in the latest land development software, including AutoCAD, GIS, ICPR, Modret, GWRAPPS, and more.  We have decades of experience working with regulatory agencies and decades of experience in land development planning, design, permitting, and construction.
